A fine, tightly woven cotton cambric with a waxed downproof finish. The wax seals the weave so feather quills and fine down can't work through, while the cloth stays soft and light.

Good to know

  • Make up with the waxed side facing inwards, towards the filling.
  • Avoid hot washes, hot tumble drying and ironing, which can soften or strip the wax.
  • For labels or logos, use a sewn-in woven label rather than an iron-on transfer.

FAQ

What makes it downproof?
A very tight weave sealed with a waxed finish closes the gaps between threads, so feathers and down stay inside.
